My Week In Pictures 005

Welcome back to That’s What Pea Said… Have you checked out my most recent post: Is It Okay To DNF a Book? I hope you had a magical weekend and are feeling refreshed and ready for the week ahead! I thought I’d re-introduce my weekly round-up, afterall I enjoy documenting my journey and not all of my blog followers follow my instagram.

I’m super excited to share with you our beautiful Palo Santo collection of soy wax candles. These candles have been curated to include a beautiful blend of high quality and hypoallergenic fragrance…

This collection includes:

The sun may not be shining but that’s no excuse not to get outside and explore the beauties which surround us… Sometimes we need to take a step back or change our perspective in order to see it and that’s totally okay, it can be easy to lose sight of our goals and the magic which surrounds us… I’m still adjusting and there is still so much to absorb however I was genuinely stoked to discover this waterfall whilst walking into town with my cariad over the weekend… The sound of the falling water is soothing and the energies surrounding the waterfall are peaceful and serene: we found our happy place.

I’m grateful to share with you Hope In Hell by Jonathon Porritt… For those of you who aren’t aware: I’m a proud environmental activist and unapologetic eco-warrior and so, on paper this book sounded right up my street however I have to admit that I’ve really struggled to get into it… I’ve found it to be quite overwhelming and lots of info to process…

I also find it difficult to understand environmental awareness which doesn’t actively promote veganism… I don’t have time for excuses & a little bit of meat, doesn’t make an animal just little bit dead BUT I don’t want to digress from the topic at hand…

Thank you Australian Body Care for sending me a lovely selection of goodies to try… This post features the first step in my current 4 part skincare routine (I can’t wait to share the rest)…

The primary ingredient in the cleanse and refresh cleanser is Tea Tree and I can honestly say that I genuinely don’t remember the last time that my skin felt so fresh… I loved the feeling so much that I also shared the 4 part printing with my cariad and my mam… after all, sharing is caring.

I’m a strong believer that how we choose to start our morning really does set our intention for the day ahead and I think this is something important which we should be mindful of. Start each day with an open heart and an open mind and take a moment each morning to ground yourself before facing the day…

⛅️ here are some tips for starting your day
💗 express gratitude: what are you grateful for?
🧘🏻‍♀️ take 5 deep breaths ~ in and out ~
🌞 find a reason to smile, perhaps right it down
🥗 eat a nourishing breakfast: feed your soul
🧞‍♀️ set your intentions/goals for the day

SPEAK IT INTO EXISTENCE

I AM not phased by other people’s projections onto me, I am comfortable as my true authentic self and repel all negativity sent my way

We were lucky enough to spend sunday frolicking around in a PYO sunflower field & ngl, it was pretty lush! After seeing endless fields of sunflowers when I visited Munich in 2017, visiting a PYO field is something which had been on my bucket list and I’m so pleased we were finally able to tick it off…

There is something satisfying about picking you own flowers, spending time with loved ones and being able to enjoy the beauty of nature without the addition of plastic and environmental nasties…
