Welcome back to That’s What Pea Said… Have you checked out my latest post: My Week in Pictures 007? I hope you’ve had a lovely week too and there have been plenty of moments which have made you smile – I’ve had another busy week so lets take a moment to reflect and look at the things which have brought me joy…
Wicked Kitchen Pots:
As an eco-conscious consumer and slow-living advocate I think it’s important to focus on every aspect of my day-to-day living. My carried and I always prefer to prepare our own food and have the left overs to take for our lunches, however – sometimes due to circumstances, convenience wins… I have learnt to accept that this is totally okay. I have become a fan of the Wicked Kitchen Pots as they are simple and full of flavour and almost entirely recyclable (I actually used the pots for my plant cuttings) – I also love that they offer so much variety and that the entire Wicked Kitchen range is vegan.
Recently, I have been making a conscious effort to take more time away from my phone. Whilst it hasn’t been the easiest of tasks as I use my phone for social media and work, I am pleased to share that I have been pretty successful so far with my attempt. As an alternative, in order to keep myself busy I have turned my hand to yarn crafts and being totally honest, I am surprised by just how much I am enjoying cross-stitch and embroidery crafts – I can’t want to show off my completed pieces once they’ve been framed and displayed.
Visiting the Arcade:
Admittedly, I am not one for surprises (they fill me with anxiety), however I had one of the loveliest surprises last weekend… I don’t want to share everything as it was both personal and magical however, the second part of my surprise included going to the arcade and it was honestly one of the most exhilarating feelings! fact: you genuinely cannot overthink whilst co-op gaming and I totally recommend it if you need to shake off a funk. Gaming together from the comfort of your own home can also been a fab distraction however it’s not quite as effective.
After almost 2yrs (due to circumstances) I had been missing my ITSU fix – fortunately a new branch has opened and my cravings have been satisfied… I am pleased to confirm that it didn’t disappoint and I have since returned to try a couple of other dishes which they have added to the menu.
If you have been following my journey for a little while you may have noticed that as part of my switch to greener living, I have been tackling my stationery and craft supplies in an attempt to switch to greener and more eco-friendly alternatives. I was over the moon to find some eco-friendly highlighters in Sainsburys (they are also pastel – kawaii win).
